JOB SUMMARY:Under general supervision, this position supports the Medical Device Reprocessing Department in purchasing instruments and equipment. This position places designated purchases orders and contact designated sources of supply to obtain specific information. Maintains perpetual inventory records including identifying when a reorder point is reached, contact suppliers to arrange adjustments to invoices or modification to original orders. Establishes and maintain a library of equipment and supplies catalogues.QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience Grade 12, two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to keyboard at 45 words per minute.Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.Ability to organize work.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the job.Ability to deal with others effectively.Ability to operate related equipment.The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
