Job Description
This role requires a visionary and experienced leader to drive the strategy, development, and deployment of Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives across the region. The Gen AI Lead will champion innovation, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure AI solutions deliver measurable business value aligned with regional and global priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Generative AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across functions such as sales, marketing, supply chain, reporting, and insights.
- Translate business requirements into scalable architecture for GenAI models, frameworks, and solutions.
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing GenAI teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of GenAI platforms—from ideation and development to deployment and optimization.
- Advocate the value of Generative AI to senior stakeholders and leadership, driving adoption across the organization.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards for responsible AI, including governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Define and manage AI governance frameworks, ethical AI usage, and regional compliance requirements.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and industry bodies.
- Stay current with emerging AI trends and represent the organization within the broader AI ecosystem.
Skills & Competencies
- 18+ years of experience in the IT industry, with deep expertise in Generative AI.
- Strong knowledge of foundational models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Proficiency in Python and experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, data processing, and MLOps principles.
- Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade GenAI solutions.
- Familiarity with ethical AI practices and governance frameworks.
- Experience with multi-modal AI, prompt engineering, and agentic AI integrations (preferred).
- Strong background in data ecosystems, including ETL, data governance, transformation, reporting, and security.
- Hands-on experience with databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
