Course: ACTG 4P63 (Audit II)
Compensation:
Instructors have a nominal workload of 195 hours per half credit course. Effective September 1, 2026 - $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally)
Effective September 1, 2026 - $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.
Duties:
Duties as per Collective Agreement, Article 22. Specific duties such as: develop course outline; prepare and deliver scholarly lectures; create/administer any assignments, tests and final exam etc. within timelines noted by Chair, and in line with usual University and departmental practice; schedule and maintain student contact time/hours; be responsible for grading of student assignments; in coordination with Chair manage disciplinary, academic integrity for the course which may include grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
Assurance II
Audit sampling; Responding to assessed risks with emphasis on the audit of financial statement cycles; Completing the audit, including the audit reports; Review engagements; Assurance on other matters and current topics in auditing.
Qualifications:
1.Master's Degree in Accounting or Business related discipline is desirable
2. Current CPA designation is desirable
3. Prior teaching experience in accounting or taxation or relevant work experience
