Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, Entertainment Unit, within the Marketing & Communications division, you will plan, manage and co-ordinate the creation and production of advertising and promotional campaigns. This includes overseeing assets for Radio-Canada’s channels and platforms as well as external media (video, print, digital and social media). For example, you could lead the launch of a new drama or variety show on ICI TÉLÉ or manage a campaign for the ICI TOU.TV streaming platform.
Your key responsibilities:
Brief creative teams and manage the production of on-air promos for drama and variety programming, partnering with designers, directors and production staff to ensure high-quality, efficient delivery that meets established marketing objectives.
Work closely with the Marketing Strategy team to ensure campaigns are deployed effectively in alignment with corporate goals.
Develop creative briefs in tandem with the Senior Creative Manager, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of each project.
Ensure that the creative team develops visuals that align with brand and product standards.
Manage and supervise the production of communications tools and promotional materials (video, print or digital) for our content and projects.
Co-ordinate all logistical data for project execution (gathering client needs, estimating costs, obtaining quotes, establishing timelines, determining team availability and securing the necessary approvals).
Collaborate with in-house teams and external partners to develop high-performing, creative marketing communications projects that meet strategic objectives.
Address challenges with project participants, recommend solutions and provide updates on project progress or changes.
Provide recommendations to programming teams to ensure maximum exposure for projects and content.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
What You Bring:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field.
Five (5) or more years’ experience in project management and advertising production environments.
Skills:
Strong understanding of the production process for on-air promos and advertisements across all external platforms.
Proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize projects.
Solid knowledge of the video streaming market (OTT platforms), television market and Radio-Canada’s content ecosystem.
Ability to be versatile, flexible, independent and adaptable to change.
Excellent organizational skills, diligence, tact and team-playing attitude.
Excellent command of spoken and written French.
Ability to engage teams, communicate effectively and foster a collaborative environment.
Ability to work on several large projects simultaneously.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, tight-deadline environment.
Strong client service focus.
Knowledge of Jira an asset.
Good knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive).
