The successful Captains greet all guests and ensure each guest is attended to in an appropriate manner ensuring consistently high levels of safety, quality, service, and guest satisfaction, while maintaining a high level of profitability. Duties and Responsibilities: •Oversees training of marine crew in Marine Safety, Seamanship and Security. •Responsible for overseeing safe operations onboard each vessel. •Assists Director of Marine Operations in overseeing fleet’s documentation, including logs, licensing information andsafety records. •Assists in Vector Solution’s Industry Safe; includes entering incident reports online, editing spreadsheets pertaining toincident reports and attending monthly Industry Safe meeting with Director of Marine Operations/Port Safety Officer •Oversees schedule for weekly marine operations. •Oversees scheduling of preventative maintenance and daily tasks. •Responsible for maintaining a 90% or better Helm score. •Manages vessel docking and fueling schedules. •Attends weekly catering meetings and schedules according •Maintains the vessels to USCG and other regulatory agency standards •Performs all duties of the captain of the vessel •OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Maintains current licenses and certifications. •Accurately completes all documentation including payroll, time sheets, revenue reports, paperwork, and invoicespromptly. •Understands all CCUS policies and procedures relating to the employee’s role within the company. Violations will besubject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. •Maintains a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available in the Employee Handbook).
Requirements & Qualifications: •High level of competency using Microsoft Office programs. •USCG 100-ton master’s license. •First Aid and CPR certifications required. •Previous training experience required. •Computer-based training development experience helpful. •Organizational, electronic file management and database experience required. •Will be required to be available for work weekends and on all major holidays.
