Role Overview:
Treasury at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) aims to be a best‑in‑class function supporting the Group’s role as a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. The Treasury Middle Office –Associate Manager is a key role within Group Treasury, providing independent oversight, control, analysis and reporting across Treasury activities. The role supports effective risk management, strong controls, high‑quality reporting and continuous improvement of Treasury processes, systems and governance. Reporting to the Treasury Middle Office Manager in Bengaluru you will be responsible for
Providing independent Middle Office oversight of Treasury activities including ensuring transactions are authorised, recorded and are compliant with Treasury policies, limits and delegated authorities.
Produce high quality Treasury reports for senior management, including analysis of cash balances, cash flow, intercompany loan and NFE forecasts, balance sheet and counterparty exposure and monthly Treasury reports.
Review and challenge Treasury activities from a risk and control perspective, providing constructive input while maintaining independence.
Assist with development, maintenance and enhancement of Treasury policies, standards, procedures and controls.
Support Treasury Management system, FIS Integrity, development, configuration and integration with a focus on controls, reporting and data integrity.
Prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audit, and support resolution of audit findings and control issues.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance Middle Office processes, controls, automation and reporting to support a “best in class” Treasury function.
Coordinate responses to KYC requests from external counterparties.
Retrieve information from Group and statutory financial accounts. Communicate accounting impact to key stakeholders.
Key Behaviours & Skills Required to be Successful in the Role:
Degree or equivalent accounting qualification (ICAI/ACCA/CIMA).
Treasury qualifications (AMCT/CFA) and experience in a corporate or financial institution.
Experienced using FIS Integrity or other treasury management system advantageous
Experience using SAP, Oracle, HFM and Financial Consolidate & Close (FCC).
Confident and effective communicator, able to engage and challenge stakeholders constructively
