This is a paid internship on a full-time basis of approximately 30-40 hours per week. The goal of the internship program is to provide the intern with relevant skills and real-life experiences in a variety of accounting and finance functions throughout the organization. There will also be opportunities to assist with general accounting, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and projects. Knowledge will be gained regarding internal control procedures, as well as the special compliance procedures that nonprofits must follow in accordance with applicable guidelines.
What you’ll have: • Must be 18 years or older. • High school diploma or GED required. • Valid, active U.S drivers license • Pre-hire Clearances: State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the past 2 years). • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a four year degree program in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

Typical responsibilities may include: • Track cash disbursement and cash receipts control sheet • Complete various account reconciliations • Maintain accrued interest schedule • Create journal entries • Complete debt roll forward • Other duties as assigned
