Summary A Sales Audit Admin ensures accuracy, integrity, and timely reconciliation of all sales-related financial data. This role supports the finance, accounting, and operations teams by reviewing daily sales transactions, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and company policies. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Review and validate daily sales transactions across all channels (POS, e commerce, wholesale) to ensure accuracy and completeness • Investigate variances between reported sales, cash deposits, credit card settlements, and system records • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales audit reports for management review • Ensure all sales data is properly recorded, coded, and compliant with accounting standards • Support POS and sales system updates, troubleshoot errors, and coordinate with IT when needed • Follow established audit procedures and assist in improving processes to reduce errors and fraud risk • Collaborate with store managers, accounting, and operations teams to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency
Skills / Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field • 2-5 years of general accounting experience • Strong knowledge of US GAAP • High level of accuracy • Ability to work in deadline-oriented environment. • Exposure to General Ledger systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV • Advanced Excel skills along with Microsoft Office skills • Comfortable working with numbers and large datasets
