Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for production problems in the designated Assembly manufacturing areas. Collaborate with process engineers, planners, purchasers, HR, and others to make production efficient, increase productivity, and limit waste, material usage, utility, and other expenses.
- Daily follow-up production schedule to plan for manpower, equipment & factory supply to ensure good product and on-time delivery.
- Support training and manpower planning to meet mass production volume or ramp-up requirements.
Education & Experience
- Engineering‑related majors: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or other relevant engineering fields, OR;
Management‑related majors: Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management
- Bachelor’s degree: Minimum 1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, OR;
College / Diploma: Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; OR;
Vocational / Associate level: Minimum 9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Understanding of technical drawing and basic engineering principles to manufacture parts in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to determine work & assign jobs to subordinates on a support manufacturing job day by day.
- Ability to lead staff and set appropriate goals to achieve department business results through yearly complete assignments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve production problems effectively and timely manner in a production setting.
- Ability to lead and motivate people, as well as train operators
- Demonstrates concern for meeting internal and external customers’ needs in a manner that provides satisfaction for the customer within the resources
- Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access, and SPC software.
Working Conditions
- Flexibility in working times.
- Exposure to some chemicals and machine oils. Works in a manufacturing environment
