The Cashier is a customer facing support person in our restaurant. The Cashier is responsible for taking and fulfilling orders while ensuring a great experience for the guest from start to finish. Part time: Cedar Woodfire Grill at Cooper Fitness Center hours to be determined
Restaurant Cashier Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• English proficiency required, bilingual a plus.
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as register, calculator or scanner.
• Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change.
• Ability to work in group setting as well as work independently.
• Knowledgeable about company’s products and services.
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food handling certification (must be completed within first month of employment).
• Casual restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• One month related experience or training.
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
