The Fiscal Services Division is responsible for developing, planning and monitoring the SCA’s operating budget, creating and monitoring project budgets for all projects, preparation of year-end financial reports and management of banking relationships as well as processing all payments. Fiscal Services also provides financial reports to OMB which are used to support City bond sales and submits project data to the State Education Department that allows NYC to receive building aid funding.
Responsibilities include:
•Assist with overall payroll workflow
•Manage and process daily timekeeping and attendance functions
•Processes payroll transactions accurately and on schedule including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions, when applicable.
• Ensures accurate and timely processing of timekeeping and payroll updates including but not limited to employees, new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws, collective bargaining agreements and company policy.
•Maintain, monitor and audit the payroll and timekeeping functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
•Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
• Oversees the maintenance of employee records and ensure confidentiality for employee information.
•Prepare and support payroll related, statistical and analytical reports for management as required.
•Support payroll systems including but not limited to updates, testing, and process improvements.
•Train and supervisor staff, as applicable.
•Performs other duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualification:
•Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; and
•Three (3) years of full-time experience in payroll or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.

•Hands on payroll processing and understanding of payroll regulations.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems.
•Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•Proficient with payroll software.

Salary Range: $79,942.00 - $110,000.00
