Guidewire Business Analyst (ClaimCenter / BillingCenter Priority)
Primary focus for this role is Guidewire ClaimCenter and BillingCenter, with secondary support for PolicyCenter initiatives. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendor partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions across the claims and billing lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings strong commercial trucking insurance domain knowledge, deep Guidewire platform understanding, and experience translating business needs into well-structured functional requirements within an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across Claims, Billing, and Underwriting to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, and detailed acceptance criteria.
- Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and Guidewire capabilities.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business users to define solution approaches.
ClaimCenter & BillingCenter Focus (Priority Area)
- Support ClaimCenter process improvements including FNOL intake, claim lifecycle management, correspondence, payments, reserves, and regulatory reporting.
- Support BillingCenter workflows including billing plans, invoicing, payments, collections, commissions, and financial reconciliation.
- Work closely with claims and finance stakeholders to optimize system usage and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper configuration and workflow alignment with business rules and compliance requirements.
PolicyCenter (Secondary Support)
- Provide support for policy lifecycle processes including policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and policy servicing when required.
Integration & Data
- Support integration requirements and data mapping between Guidewire and external systems such as:
- Fleet safety and driver risk data sources
- Document management and correspondence platforms
Agile Delivery Support
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers, architects, QA, and product owners to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
- Assist in validating implemented solutions against business expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Property & Casualty insurance
- 3+ years of Guidewire platform experience with strong focus on ClaimCenter and/or BillingCenter
- Deep understanding of insurance claims handling and billing operations
- Strong knowledge of commercial trucking insurance operations and regulatory environment
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for backlog management
- Strong facilitation and communication skills across business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire ClaimCenter or BillingCenter certifications
- Experience working with Guidewire integrations, data migration, and configuration
- Familiarity with trucking data sources such as:

Special Considerations
Physical Requirements: Constant use of vision, hearing, and communication (oral and written/in-person and via telephone). Frequent concentration, standing, walking, handling, reaching, and grasping. Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 25 lbs.) Heavy use of computer and office equipment.
Travel/Hours of Service: Frequent travel required. Periodic work outside of standard business hours or on weekends may be required.
