

JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Manager, Data & Analytics, the Junior Business Advisor occupies a foundational position within Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), designed for those at the entry-level of their career in data analysis. This role is central to organizational data-driven decision-making processes, focusing on the collection, processing, and analysis of data to unearth valuable insights that inform strategic decisions for managers/leaders.The Junior Business Advisor collaborates with senior advisors/analysts and other team members to maintain data quality, work on creating and maintaining reports, assist with data analysis, creation of presentations and help enhance data-based procedures. Utilizes a strong analytical mindset and motivation to develop skills in data analysis and support organizational leadership within a collaborative team environment.This work is framed within VCH’s commitments to our pillars of Indigenous Cultural Safety, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Planetary Health.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Administration, Business, Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related discipline, supplemented with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex healthcare data.
