Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze and map data from the old system to the new one.
- Develop and implement data conversion plans.
- Design and execute data validation and testing processes.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data conversion process.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements.
- Research and evaluate new data conversion technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Mentor and train other team members on data conversion best practices.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress and status.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten (10) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in:
- Data analysis, mapping, and migration between legacy and modern systems
- Developing and implementing comprehensive data conversion plans
- Designing and executing data validation and testing processes
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout conversion projects
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements.
Preferred
Qualifications
- Prior experience with LADOTD data or other similar state applications.
- Experience with data conversion tools, ETL platforms, and scripting languages.
