Job Summary:
Setup and operate CNC swiss lathe machines to fabricate production parts.
Reporting To:
Shift Supervisor and/or Director of Operations
Essential Job Functions
- Setup and operate CNC swiss lathe machines.
- Trouble shoot and diagnose machine performance and ensure produced parts meet specification.
- Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Properly use calipers, verniers, and thread gauges.
- Properly and safely load and unload machines.
- Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.
- Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and written

- Attention to detail with precision equipment and products
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required. Tech school training preferred.
- 3 years operating experience in CNC swiss lathe machining, Tsugami, Star, or Citizen machines
- Experience holding tight tolerances.
Physical Requirements
- Required to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be capable of lifting, pulling, pushing, or carrying up to 30 lbs.
