Are you an experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant looking to grow your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented veterinary practice? We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated team member with 1–3 years of veterinary experience who thrives in a hands-on clinical environment and is passionate about patient care and client communication.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
As a Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will play a key role in both patient care and client communication by:
- Providing exceptional client service in the clinic and exam rooms
- Obtaining concise yet detailed medical histories and recording accurate vital signs
- Managing hospitalized and boarded patients with attentive nursing care
- Assisting veterinarians with daily medical procedures and treatments
- Safely and confidently handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Drawing blood samples for laboratory testing
- Running in-house diagnostics including bloodwork, fecals, and urinalysis
- Preparing patients and surgical suites for procedures
- Assisting with anesthesia monitoring, surgery support, and patient recovery
- Taking, developing, emailing, and uploading CR radiographs
- Answering phone calls and assisting clients with pet-related questions
- Acting as a liaison between clients and the veterinary team
- Communicating treatment protocols, recommendations, and follow-up care instructions
- Troubleshooting client concerns and helping facilitate positive outcomes
- Supporting additional clinic projects and responsibilities as assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- 1–3 years of veterinary clinic or animal hospital experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of animal restraint, patient care, and veterinary terminology
- Experience with laboratory diagnostics and radiology preferred
- Surgical and anesthesia experience is a plus
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
