Row Crop Supply Enablement Unit Lead
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products. This position involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaborate with various departments to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
The primary responsibilities of this role, Row Crop Supply Enablement Unit Lead, are to:
- Achievement of collective Row Crops Supply Chain Current Year KPIs including demand forecast, supply plans, and replenishment to deliver US Commercial supply to partners in time for planting;
- Co-create Rough Cut Capacity Plans in conjunction with Manufacturing and Logistics squads that enables a safe, cost effective inventory plan across the network;
- Ensure adequate resourcing for Material Requirements Plans, Export Production and Plot Seed needs;
- Coach to the development and achievement of in season execution plans for US corn, soybean, cotton, and specialty crops complete with leading KPIs to drive 90 outcomes that meet customer and Bayer commitments. (Forecasts, Packaging Plans, Replenishment, etc.);
- Co-Create Returns and Rework plans to enable upcoming season through cold storage and repackaging plans;
- Overall responsibility to motivate and inspire the Current Year Row Crop Planning Squads to achieve supply plans for $6B annual revenue business;
- Co-Create strategic direction for the Current year Row Crop Planning Squads that consider Commercial Team objectives along with Product Supply constraints;
- Provide continuous improvement mindset that drives perpetual improvement in process efficiency to achieve outcomes;
- Reports to overall Demand and Supply Planning Lead on NAPSLT. Key alignments include Squads within Demand and Supply Planning, Customer and Partner Support, Site and Product Support and Enablement within Product Supply;
- Co-Creating and building out operational plans with Unit Support Squads (USS).
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations and/or related field with prior experience leading high performing teams;
- Experience/understanding of Agriculture network and its limitations, ability to anticipate challenges in market dynamics;
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to build trust across broad stakeholder teams;
- Experience with finance/accounting/budgeting/cost control/schedule control/inventory management principles;
- Ability to think strategically and make decisions based on overall business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Row Crop Manufacturing experience;
- BS/BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations and/or related field required with 15 years of functional/management experience.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $173,440.00 - $260,160.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
