We are seeking a valuable team member for the position of "Information Technology Agent" to be considered at Rixos Tersane İstanbul.
Job Description
- Creates and manages user accounts, email accounts, and system access permissions,
- Provides first-level technical support for hardware, software, printer, network, and system-related issues,
- Installs, configures, and maintains computers, printers, IP phones, and other IT equipment,
- Monitors IT systems and reports technical issues to the IT Supervisor/Manager when necessary,
- Supports hotel applications, PMS systems, POS systems, and office software,
- Assists employees with troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day IT-related problems,
- Ensures all IT inventory and asset records are accurate and up to date,
- Follows up on IT maintenance requests and coordinates with external vendors when required,
- Supports network, internet, Wi-Fi, and communication systems within the hotel,
- Ensures compliance with IT security policies, data protection procedures, and hotel standards,
- Assists in maintaining backup systems and ensuring data security procedures are followed,
- Provides technical support during meetings, events, and operational activities when needed,
- Adapts to departmental changes in line with the operational needs of the hotel,
- Is flexible in expanding job responsibilities as needed, including reassignment to alternative departments/areas, and performs other reasonable duties within the scope of capability.
Qualifications
- Degree or vocational education in Information Technologies, Computer Programming, or a related field,
- Previous experience in a similar IT position is preferred,
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking,
- Good communication and problem-solving skills,
- Team-oriented and customer-focused,
- Good command of English is an asset.
