Job Description
The role will provide specialist guidance to leaders to improve divisional strategies, programmes and performance while also partnering closely with key stakeholders to deliver end-to-end projects, build culture and ensure the attainment of goals. The role will also be a key enabler for data-driven decision-making and will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting HR metrics and trends to optimise business operations and facilitate Executive committee and board decisions.
Accountabilities
- Serve as an advisor to senior HR leadership, offering strategic insights on critical HR initiatives, risks, and challenges with a focus on lifting overall divisional performance in line with best practice.
- Conduct research, collecting qualitative and quantitative data from various internal and external sources and systems to conduct analysis and shape recommendations for senior leadership and board discussions. This would include, but not be limited to, people and business data, industry and market trends, benchmarks, and best practices.
- Build visualisations, reports, business cases and Board-level decks, supported by compelling narratives, to effectively articulate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Own the planning and compile all materials to support HR Senior Leadership Committee (NRC).
- Develop recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR programmes and services and identify areas to improve HR functional performance against industry benchmarks.
- Conduct workforce planning analysis to anticipate future talent requirements and identify succession planning opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end, strategic Talent programmes that contribute to division and business priorities, ensure achievement of planned project milestones, timely escalations, and delivery to project management standards.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience across HR strategy, analytics, organisational design or talent management. Consulting experience would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience producing Board and/or Committee materials in a complex or regulated environment.
- Exposure to project management methodologies like PMP, Prince2 etc. with a certification preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. Arabic would be considered an advantage.
