Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
An opportunity within our Indirect Procurement Function has become available for an analytic and big picture thinking individual to partner and collaborate with the business on all indirect procurement activities:
- The Indirect Procurement Business Partner (IPBP) manages the full scope of indirect procurement activities of all Business Areas and Business Units in Türkiye, with the possibility of extending the scope to other countries in the future.
- Acts as the IP partner to the country leadership team, ensuring that IP policy, way of working, and tools are understood and actively engaged with to generate productivity, transparency, and compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities within Türkiye, bridging local business requirements by aligning with global and regional category strategies (RFP, offer analysis with total cost of ownership, contract negotiation, supplier onboarding, etc.)
- Coordinate and manage Opex and Capex projects from an IP perspective, leveraging digital tools including SAP, Ariba, e-Sourcing, e-RFP, e-Auction, and Procure360.
- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers; negotiate, execute, and maintain contracts aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, win-win relationships with business leaders and stakeholders—understand requirements, challenge where necessary, ensure category strategy alignment, and educate on IP policies and tools.
- Deliver IP sustainability targets and advocate for ethical procurement and corporate social responsibility.
- Provide local market knowledge and intelligence to regional and global category managers, supporting informed decision-making.
- Deliver agreed savings targets with a Total Value Contribution mindset, tracking and reporting on financial performance, including savings delivery and budget data.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements; manage IP project and supplier risk comprehensively.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- BSc. and/or MSc. in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Economics, or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in indirect procurement as well.
- Fluent in English and Turkish (spoken and written).
- Very strong Excel skills, Proficiency in Ariba (e-Sourcing, e-Sourcing), SAP, and embracing continuously evolving AI tools.
Critical Knowledge
- Sourcing strategy development, implementation, and supply market analysis.
- Procurement policies, procedures, tendering, and contract management.
- Financial measurements, business case development, and ROI analysis.
- Legal and contractual knowledge.
Critical Skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and influencing skills with the ability to sell ideas internally.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead complex projects and manage a cross-functional team, with a cross-cultural understanding within a matrix organization.
