As a Senior Atlassian Solution Architect & Tech Lead, you will be the technical cornerstone of our Atlassian Practice. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex enterprise challenges and high-performing technical solutions.
We are looking for someone who doesn't just "configure Jira" but architects ecosystems. While Atlassian is your primary toolset, you possess a global vision of the full Atlassian platform — Cloud Migrations, Teamwork Collection (Jira, Confluence), Service Collection (JSM, CSM, Assets), and AI (Rovo). Your ability to map processes from other enterprise platforms and translate them into modern Atlassian practices is a key differentiator. You will lead the technical discovery during Pre-Sales and act as the "Design Authority" during delivery, ensuring every implementation provides maximum business value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales & Strategic Architecture
Technical Discovery & PoCs: Lead discovery workshops, perform high-impact Demos, and build Proof of Concepts to showcase how Atlassian solves complex business pains.
Solution Design: Create high-level architecture designs integrating Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, Assets, Bitbucket, and OpsGenie.
Platform Competitive Strategy: Act as a subject matter expert in migrating or co-existing with other enterprise platforms — ITSM stacks (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, Freshworks, Zendesk) and Project Management stacks (e.g., Monday, Asana, MS Project) — translating legacy workflows into modern Atlassian practices.
Effort Estimation: Partner with Sales to provide accurate technical scoping and effort estimations for transformation projects.
2. Technical Leadership & "Design Authority"
Tech Lead Oversight: Define and own the technical roadmap for client implementations — Cloud Migrations, Teamwork Collection (Jira, Confluence), Service Collection (JSM, CSM, Assets), and AI (Rovo) — while acting as the final technical gatekeeper for delivery teams, ensuring configurations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with global best practices.
Process Architecture: Consult on business process optimization by mapping Agile, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks directly into the Atlassian toolset.
Mentorship & Governance: Define technical standards (naming conventions, security, automation logic) and mentor junior consultants through code and configuration reviews.
Critical Problem Solving: Lead the resolution of complex technical and functional roadblocks that require deep architectural knowledge.
3. Advanced Implementation & Migration
Deep Tech Stack: Expert-level configuration of complex Workflows, Permission Schemes, and Advanced Dashboards.
Automation & Scripting: Architect robust automation using Automation for Jira and ScriptRunner (Groovy scripting).
Enterprise Migrations: Lead complex migrations (Server/Data Center to Cloud) using the Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistant (ACMA/JCMA) and other ETL strategies.
Ecosystem Integration: Design and implement API-based integrations with third-party enterprise tools (Slack, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow).
Professional Experience:
Atlassian Expertise: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Atlassian ecosystem as a Lead Consultant or Administrator.
ITSM/ESM Vision: Proven track record of implementing Jira Service Management (JSM) and Assets. Experience with ServiceNow (either as a user, admin, or in migration projects) is highly valued.
Framework Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITIL 4 frameworks.
Integration Skills: Experience with REST APIs and connecting Atlassian to the wider DevSecOps or ITSM landscape.
Soft Skills & Mindset:
Consultative Power: Ability to speak the language of "Business Value" to C-Levels while maintaining technical depth with developers.
Strategic Vision: A "critical eye" to advise clients on best practices, often saying "no" to bad requirements to ensure long-term scalability.
Ownership: A proactive "Lead" mindset—you take responsibility for the technical success of the project from the first meeting to the final hand-over.
Languages: Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
