What You'll Do:
The Banquets Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service during meetings, events, and special functions at the resort conference center. This role ensures all banquet services are executed efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with established service standards. The Banquets Server works closely with the banquet team to create a seamless and positive guest experience while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Variable schedule including weekends and holidays.
Starts at $15.16 plus gratuities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Set up banquet rooms according to event orders, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations
Provide attentive, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to guests throughout the events
Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure proper presentation of food and beverages in accordance with resort standards,
Monitor guest needs proactively and responds promptly to requests or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces before, during, and after events
Clear tables, remove used dishes, and reset spaces efficiently for ongoing or upcoming functions
Collaborate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and event coordinators to ensure smooth service execution
Follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling practices
Assist with breakdown and storage of equipment, linens, and supplies after events
Adherent to alcohol service regulations and responsible serving practices
Support multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high service standards
Always uphold the resort’s guest service philosophy and professionalism
Qualifications
Previous banquet or hospitality service experience - preferred
Proficiency in written and spoken English - required
Ability to stand for extended period and lift and move equipment as needed - required
