Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies by managing platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment. Key responsibilities include identifying customer needs, working with Technology on design options, and validating concepts. Job expectations include developing business cases, partnering with Technology and key operational stakeholders to conduct analyses, and writing business and functional requirements documentation.
This Platform Manager role will be a part of the Enterprise Credit Analytics & Transformation Strategy (ECATS) Analytics & AI team, which is responsible for assessing, designing, building, managing, and maintaining Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Solutions for our Enterprise Credit and Banking teams. The role will be focused on product management activities and efforts, primarily for our Analytics platform, with areas of growth opportunities across AI initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Defines the strategic vision for key user experience functionalities, identifying administrative modifications and opportunities to streamline data entry processes
Drives innovation and improves platforms used by bank employees and support organizations to maximize system stability, while minimizing user disruption
Interacts with key program stakeholders such as platform and process design teams to facilitate solutions and remedies to any risks/issues identified during platform deployment
Leads the end-to-end requirement gathering and release execution process from an operational validation perspective with Technology partners
Manages User Acceptance Testing execution and documents evidence of success prior to release
Partners with Technology to plan, implement, and deploy business strategies, while prioritizing the bank's long and short-term goals
Manage and prioritize the product roadmap to deliver committed features, enhancements, and data capabilities aligned to business needs and strategic objectives
Develop business and functional requirements in partnership with business, data, and technology teams to support feature design, prioritization, and execution
Drive stakeholder engagement, platform demonstrations, and adoption activities to promote understanding, alignment, and effective use of new capabilities across teams and leadership
Monitor and triage data and platform issues, coordinating with partners to resolve incidents, evaluate sourcing alternatives, and support ongoing platform performance
Required Qualifications:
5+ years experience in credit underwriting, monitoring, collateral analysis, credit fulfillment, or banking and credit projects
Familiarity with credit policy and procedures
Ability to create and maintain partnerships with multiple stakeholders
Demonstrates problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and deliver creative solutions
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical specs
Self-starter who is comfortable operating independently in an ambiguous environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; effectively engages across all organizational levels and distills complex information, results, and subject matter into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations for diverse audiences
Demonstrates strong executive presence
Experience with managing and leading teams, projects or initiatives
Experience with presenting and training preferred
Understanding of data use governance and requirements
Excellent presentation skills, driving application demonstrations incorporating real-life business use cases to drive a clear understanding to a broad set of stakeholders
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with Bank of America Enterprise Credit specific business, systems and data expertise (CRP, LoanIQ, Workplace, CreditCenter (nCino), GUS, GMS, Precision Lender, CED, Risk Rating Scorecard, and Profitability)
