Sales Manager - Netflix House Philadelphia

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue at Netflix House Philadelphia through group sales for four ticketed attractions, plus private events taking place across our venue. This is a dynamic, highly visible role that blends strategic thinking, grassroots hustle, partnership with fellow Netflix House Crew/Staff and a love for immersive entertainment experiences.
You will be tasked with developing a proactive outbound sales strategy focusing on high-value group and corporate clients. The Sales Manager will act as a public representative for Netflix House Philadelphia within the community. You will partner closely with internal teams across Netflix to source leads, build proposals and tailor Netflix House offerings to meet the needs of key decision-makers. The ideal Sales Manager is a results-driven, communicative leader who enjoys cultivating strategic partnerships and is dedicated to growing the groups and events business at Netflix House.
This on-site, salaried role reports to the General Manager and is based at Netflix House Philadelphia.
What you will do:
Prospect and qualify new group and private event sales opportunities through phone calls, in-person meetings, networking and emails. Offerings range from ticket-only group sales to events with combination of tickets and food & beverage offerings, to bespoke buyout private events.
Prospect and sell birthday parties and other celebrations at Netflix House, supporting the development of compelling IP-based offerings.
Implement the sales strategy set by the Director of Revenue, in coordination with the Sales Managers of other Houses.
Partner closely with the onsite F&B Operations Manager and Event Supervisor to ensure a seamless end-to-end process for event execution.
Manage the sales process in Salesforce, with tickets booked in Ventrata, and the master calendar managed in Airtable.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, schools, camps, universities, non-profits, tour operators, convention & visitor bureaus, and neighborhood organizations to develop a robust sales pipeline.
Ownership for recurring onsite sales events and receptions to drive booking.
Make ongoing recommendations to ensure the product-market fit of offerings for corporate and private clients, including buyouts, hospitality packages, and brand-aligned activations, working closely with the Netflix House team to customize experiences.
Support local in-market activations, community events, and on-site promotional opportunities by representing Netflix House Philadelphia and networking with attendees.
Work closely with marketing to develop B2B and B2C marketing assets for the sales program.
Align with key stakeholders across Live Experiences, including marketing, revenue, ticketing, consumer products, finance & strategy and legal
Meet or exceed sales and activity goals and provide excellent customer service. Ability to handle a high inquiry volume and outbound sales activity.
What we need from you:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
Demonstrated, 5+ years of sales experience in the location-based entertainment (LBE) industry, live events or hospitality.
Strong understanding of the King of Prussia / Philadelphia region to develop localized sales strategy.
Expertise in interpreting and distilling a large volume of sales and customer data into actionable insights, including ability to accurately produce sales reports and effectively communicate sales patterns and needs to a wide audience.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, communities, and cross-functional partners.
Knowledge of marketing and sales trends in the LBE industry.
Familiarity with event logistics, ticketing, venue capacity planning, and staffing coordination for group events and buyouts.
Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate, crafting custom experiences and bundles that make Netflix House the go-to destination for fandom-based gatherings.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and digital.
Excellent organizational skills using digital tools and Google suite. Salesforce experience a plus.
Availability to support a 365-day attraction through flexible scheduling; this onsite position balances a typical Monday through Friday work schedule with evening and/or weekend event support for external networking opportunities and onsite events.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $142,000.00 - $194,000.00.
