About the Job:
Performs all aspects of Electroencephalogram (EEG) testing for in and outpatients following prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinates with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients and family to schedule and provide testing of all ages.
Documents procedures, reports adverse reactions and bills for services rendered.
Evaluates minor and major equipment needs and assists in purchasing decisions. Assures all equipment operates properly and is maintained according to manufacturer’s specifications.
Performing EEG testing according to physician orders on both in/outpatients
Works with all ages with little supervision, for long periods of time.
Prepares reports and EEG technical findings, and transmit to neurology for interpretation
Who You Are / Requirements:
Completion of an approved AMA program or on-the-job training with documentation.
Completion of all major competency verifications on a yearly basis.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of 1 year experience in adult, child and neonate* age specific experience. (*may substitute clinical rotation with reference).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
