THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Park Manager to oversee the operations of Lakes Entrance Tourist Park and Lakes Entrance Village. This full-time, live-on-site position involves managing daily park operations, leading a diverse team, and ensuring guests and resident experiences are positive in one of Victoria’s most loved coastal destinations.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring accommodations, amenities, and guest services exceed expectations.
- Confidently engage with village residents and foster a strong sense of community by providing ongoing support and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, building positive repore.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of staff across various departments including reception, grounds and sales.
- Drive revenue, and satisfaction through innovative marketing and exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain the park and village's aesthetic appeal through hands-on maintenance and landscaping oversight.
- Build strong relationships with the local community and stakeholders to enhance the park’s reputation.
- Participate in an on-call capacity to respond to operational or guest-related matters outside standard business hours as required.
ABOUT YOU
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Property Management or related experience in a similar operational role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate your team.
- A guest-first & resident-first mindset with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Proficiency in IT systems (reservations, POS, property management).
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays in peak seasons.
- A current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Check and First Aid Certificate.
