The Role
We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of Grana and help lead a team that takes pride in delivering excellent, unpretentious hospitality. You'll work closely with the leadership team across floor operations, team development, reservations, and the guest experience.
This is a role for someone who's already found their feet in hospitality leadership and is ready for the next step.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading service on the floor and setting the standard for the team
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of floor staff
- Managing reservations and pre-service briefings in collaboration with the team
- Overseeing opening and closing procedures
- Handling guest feedback in the moment
- Assisting with rostering, labour management, and daily reporting
- Supporting compliance across RSA, food safety, and OH&S
- Contributing to a positive team culture that people actually want to be part of
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar front-of-house leadership role
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to read the room
- Genuine enthusiasm for food, wine, and hospitality
- Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and consistent
- Solid knowledge of SevenRooms or similar reservations platforms (desirable)
- Current RSA certificate
