We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant/Parts Coordinator who will assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and picking up and delivering material from warehouse and/or vendors for jobs sites.
Responsibilities: • Assist the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator by ensuring that the company achieves the budgeted gross margin by purchasing equipment and parts at the lowest possible prices or using equipment from warehouse inventory. • Monitor all purchases to ensure that purchase orders are issued and are properly designated as to which department they should be charged to. • Maintain status of all purchase orders. • Provide efficient deliveries of parts and equipment to Technicians and Installers. Technicians should go to a supply house only as a last resort. • Replenish truck stock using the Technicians and Installers Bin Restocking (TBR) System so that Technicians never make unnecessary trips for stocking. Plans parts replenishment around their work schedule. • Count all serialized equipment on the last day of each month and reports accurate results to the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator. • Process all warranty parts and warranty labor credits quickly, then follows through to make sure the company receives each credit quickly. • Organize all equipment and parts stored within the warehouse area, keeping it neat and clean at all times. • Obey the Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be a self-motivated, self-starter, results driven individual. • Must be detail oriented and well organized. Physical Requirements: • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. • Ability to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures, wet/humid environments, and/or with vibration • Working with mechanical and chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, gases, and/or poor ventilation • Ability to climb, talk, crouch, stand, balance, reach, grasp, pull, lift, see, hear, and operate tools and vehicles
