Role Overview
This role leads Marriott International's partnership marketing in South Korea. The Senior Manager will be responsible the end-to-end performance of partnership marketing, driving strategy, partner alignment, partnership operations and execution to deliver measurable business outcomes.
As the marketing lead for Korea partnerships, this role is responsible for translating partnership opportunities into impactful marketing programs that drive acquisition, engagement, and partner value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Strategy & Growth
- Define and lead Korea's partnership marketing strategy aligned with APEC and global priorities.
- Develop joint marketing plans with partners to drive acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Identify new opportunities within existing partnerships and broader ecosystem (finance, travel, retail, digital platforms).
- Act as the key marketing counterpart to business teams, translating partnership opportunities into market-ready initiatives.
- Support onboarding of new partners by shaping the go-to-market and engagement plan (e.g., kickoff workshops, value proposition alignment, channel briefing), and coordinating internal stakeholders (business, legal, etc.) to ensure launch readiness.
2. Partner Marketing & Execution
- Own the end-to-end partner marketing lifecycle — from planning and briefing to execution and reporting.
- Lead joint go-to-market initiatives leveraging both Marriott and partner channels (CRM, app, media).
- Drive visibility and exposure across partner ecosystems, ensuring strong utilization of partner-owned channels.
- Translate strategy into integrated campaigns across digital, CRM, social, and offline channels tailored to Korea.
- Manage agency partners to deliver campaigns that connect brand awareness with performance outcomes.
- Manage all accounting and budget for South Korea partnerships
3. Performance & Stakeholder Management
- Define and track KPIs across all partnerships, focusing on acquisition, engagement, and revenue contribution.
- Analyse campaign and partner performance to optimise strategy and improve ROI.
- Present performance insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and partners.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across marketing, business, legal, and operations teams to deliver initiatives end-to-end.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 7–10+ years in partnership marketing, digital marketing, or commercial marketing.
- Proven experience managing strategic partnerships or joint marketing programs with measurable outcomes.
- Strong planning capability, including joint marketing planning and performance governance with partners.
- Experience working in a global or regional matrix organization preferred.
- Creative and advertising agency experience will be preferred.
Skills
- Fluent in Korean and English; strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial mindset with ability to link marketing to business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of Korea's digital ecosystem (Kakao, Naver, etc.).
- Ability to influence stakeholders across functions without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and performance-driven approach.
