Your New Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance, Performance and Business Partnering is accountable for leading the enterprise performance, the finance business partnering agenda across the organisation, while also owning the Finance data and analytics strategy and the delivery of major finance transformation initiatives.
The role provides overarching leadership, alignment, and strategic direction across business units, ensuring Finance operates as a cohesive, high‑impact function that enables strong decision‑making, delivery of strategic priorities, and sustainable performance. It will also ensure high‑quality financial insight, strong commercial discipline, and effective data driven decision support to the Executive, Board and senior leaders, while developing a high‑performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the enterprise performance and finance business partnering model across all business units.
Act as the single point of accountability for aligning performance outcomes, priorities, and trade‑offs across business units.
Ensure consistent, high‑quality financial insights that support strategic, commercial, and investment decision‑making.
Provide strategic leadership to the Finance Business Partnering function, setting clear direction, standards and expectations to be driven out across the Domains.
Challenge assumptions and scenarios to ensure plans are robust, sustainable and aligned to strategic priorities.
Provide clear insights into long‑term financial implications, trade‑offs and opportunities.
Own the end‑to‑end Finance data and analytics strategy across the organisation.
Drive improvements in the speed, quality, consistency, and accessibility of financial data and insights.
Motivate and inspire the team by demonstrating commitment to the Fund’s values, decision pillars and leadership principles
Ensure our Members First culture is consistently and firmly embedded across the team
Lead and develop senior Finance leaders across business units, fostering strong collaboration, capability uplift, and succession.
What You’ll Need
Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles within complex, regulated financial services environments.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise‑wide finance partnering, planning and performance functions.
Strong strategic, commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to translate complexity into clear insights.
Proven ability to influence and advise at Executive and Board level.
Strong people leadership experience, including leading senior leaders and building high‑performing teams
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
CA / CPA (or equivalent).
