About BYD France
BYD France is the French National Sales Company of BYD BV Europe and BYD Company Ltd, a China-based company and a leading global supplier of green energy technologies. BYD France offers a range of electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, buses & forklifts. BYD is expanding its operations in France to support a growing portfolio of New Electric Vehicle Passenger car and LCVs projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape and evolve the visual identity of vehicle models and the brand, translating creative strategies into high-quality design execution.
Clearly understand product positioning and features, proactively offering design ideas for copywriting and strategy teams while delivering efficient art execution.
Strong hands-on ability; independently lead key project designs.
Oversee the entire production chain: from product shoots, image retouching, and creative artwork production through to final delivery approval.
Education & language: Degree in Visual Communication, Art Design, or a related field. Experience in the automotive sector with solid knowledge and personal perspective. Fluent English is required; proficiency in the local language of the work location and/or Mandarin is a plus.
Cultural background: Native to Europe or the US, or have lived in Europe/the US for over 8 years with full cultural integration and deep local understanding.
Core experience & skills: Minimum 4 years of advertising experience in Europe or the US; at least 2 years serving a major automotive brand with proven, live campaign work. Mastery of standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Portfolio requirement: At least 2 successful creative case studies clearly annotated with your role and measurable project outcomes.
Other requirements: Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; responsible and resilient under pressure. Experience in project management or team leadership is preferred.
Right to work: Must have the legal right to work in the EU.
