Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about maintaining a clean, well-organized event environment? We’re seeking a Banquet House Attendant & Server to support our banquet and events team in delivering seamless, high-quality service in a newly renovated and vibrant setting. Your behind-the-scenes efforts will play a key role in the success of meetings, weddings, and special events.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, break down, and reset banquet rooms according to event orders and service standards
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet spaces, kitchens, storage areas, and service corridors
- Clean and properly store banquet equipment, including tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware
- Assist banquet servers and culinary team as needed before, during, and after events
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of trash, recyclables, and food waste
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain a professional appearance and work collaboratively with the events team
- Support a positive guest experience through efficiency, cleanliness, and attention to detail

Requirements
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds
- Hearing, writing, typing
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
- Previous experience in banquets, stewarding, hospitality, or food & beverage preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to follow instructions, event diagrams, and established procedures
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift, push, pull, and move banquet equipment
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling standards preferred
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience accepted
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
- Ability to obtain required licenses or certifications, if applicable
- Additional language skills a plus
- CPR and First Aid training preferred
