WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Primary Care Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of WVU Medicine Wheeling Continuous Care Center and nearby nursing homes
Duties: The physician will be responsible for managing a panel of nursing home patients, addressing both routine and acute medical needs while ensuring high-quality, coordinated care in collaboration with facility staff.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license. Applicants must have completed a Geriatrics, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine fellowship. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Geriatrics, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
