Job Summary:
The Inspector – Permitting and Licensing at BlackStone eIT is responsible for ensuring that all activities comply with relevant permitting and licensing regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, reviewing permit applications, and working closely with regulatory bodies to facilitate the approval process. The inspector plays a critical role in ensuring operations meet statutory and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with permit and licensing conditions.
- Review and assess permit applications and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure timely issuance and renewal of permits and licenses.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and compliance status.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on permitting and licensing requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in regulations and update internal processes accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in permitting, licensing, or regulatory inspection roles.
- Strong understanding of local and international permitting and licensing laws.
- Proven experience conducting inspections and assessing compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
