Software Engineering Senior Analyst – Python Developer
Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on AWS Python Developer with strong experience building and supporting cloud-native, event-driven applications on AWS. The ideal candidate is comfortable coding, debugging production issues, and working across serverless and database-driven systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain REST APIs ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage and optimize AWS including EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
- Write optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Utilize Git and CI/CD tools to implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies—planning, refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives.
- Work collaboratively with QA, DevOps, Architecture, and Product teams.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support production applications.
- Apply Healthcare domain understanding to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development
- Strong experience with AWS services: Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, CloudWatch, EC2
- Experience building APIs using Python FastAPI
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
- Strong SQL writing and debugging skills
- Experience with event-driven and serverless architectures
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and support applications in production
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Exposure to DevOps and monitoring best practices
- Agile/Scrum experience
