Job Description
As a Security Officer Seasoned Unarmed Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with a caring, reliable, and professional approach grounded in teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, docks, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic operational areas to help support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries throughout the location.
- Document incidents, daily activities, and policy-related concerns in required logs and/or reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
