We are seeking a Research Fellow to be in charge of an experimental apparatus aiming to develop a quantum processor based on Neutral Atom Arrays. The role will focus on developing the experiment, data acquisition and analysis, and supervision of undergraduate and PhD students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop cold atom apparatus using state-of-the-art technologies
Develop the necessary interface to drive a quantum processor
Report at least on a weekly basis on the progress to the principal investigator
Supervise a research team of 4-10 people
Job Requirements:
Holds a PhD degree in Experimental Physics, with specialization in Quantum Physics, Optics, or a related discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Possess at least one (1) year of relevant experience in similar research or experimental role.
Experience or familiarity with cold atom systems, laser systems, vacuum systems, and photonics.
Possess strong skills in experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
The candidate should have experience in supervision of undergraduate and/or PhD students.
