We are looking for a Junior IT Security Specialist to join us at this pivotal moment, share our vision, and help shape the future of European banking.We are looking for a well organized and tech-savvy Junior Specialist to act as the operational "right hand" for our Security Team. You don't need to be a pentester or a policy writer. Instead, you will be the coordinator who ensures our processes run smoothly and free up our senior team’s time. Your goal is to handle the logistics, scheduling tests, chasing evidence etc. You will have the opportunity to learn security governance and operations from the inside out and grow with the team.
Pentest Logistics
Prerequisite Checking: Before a test starts, you contact the Product Owners/Developers to check if they have submitted the required documents (API specs, architecture diagrams). If they haven't, you remind them until it's done.
Onboarding External Testers: You prepare the "welcome pack" for external vendors - setting up their VPNs, test accounts, and access rights so they are ready on Day 1.
Initiative Management
Coordination of selected IT Security initiatives and projects,
Ensuring cyclical progress monitoring,
Status updates and timely escalation of risks and delays.
Control Reporting
Monitoring of recurring internal controls,
Preparation of regular reports and presentations summarizing their implementation status, results, and progress on remediation actions.
Audit Documentation
Preparation, collection, and maintenance of organized records and documentation required for internal and external audits and inspections.
Operational Hygiene
Meeting & Documentation Support: Help maintain meeting notes, update confluence pages, and ensure our internal security documentation is organized and searchable.
Periodic review of permission change reports from GCP and updating data for the SOC trend report
1-2 years of experience in Project Management Support, IT Support or a Junior Analyst role.
Detail-Oriented: You spot when a date is wrong
Strong Organizational Skills: You live in JIRA, Google Sheets, or task management tools. You enjoy ticking boxes and keeping schedules clean.
Communication Confidence: You are not afraid to message a Product Owner or Developer to ask for an update. You can write clear, professional emails in English (B2/C1).
Nice to Have:
Interest in Cybersecurity.
Experience with JIRA (creating tickets, dashboards).
Basic exposure to ISO 27001 or GDPR concepts
