About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced QA Technical Manager to lead QA Technical team of 3. This role will ensure strong quality and compliance across validation, qualification, calibration, maintenance, and manufacturing support activities. This role also partners closely with Manufacturing, R&D, Technical Services, and Operational Quality to ensure compliance, strengthen quality systems, and support delivery of safe, high quality AROA products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide QA oversight for validation, qualification, process changes, calibration, and maintenance
- Ensure calibration and maintenance records are accurate and compliant
- Review quality events and ensure effective root cause analysis and CAPAs
- Provide QA input into projects and validation planning
- Support specifications, and material/equipment suitability
- Contribute to process FMEA (pFMEA) development and maintenance.
- Provide technical support for equipment and process troubleshooting.
- Lead, coach, and develop the QA Technical team
- Manage workload, priorities, and team performance
- Support team development and capability building
- Promote a high performance and collaborative team culture
- Drive continuous improvement across validation and quality systems
What you’ll bring:
Minimum of 5+ years’ QA experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing, including leadership experience. Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR Part 820 is essential. You also bring:
- Experience in validation, root cause analysis, and technical writing
- Proven experience leading technical or quality teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or related field
