Job Summary: As an Inside Sales Representative at AIR LIQUIDE CANADA INC., you will be responsible for driving sales growth by actively engaging with customers, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions for our industrial gas and welding product offerings. This role primarily involves phone and email communication to build relationships, generate leads, close deals and assist customer coming to the store.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and contact potential and existing customers via phone and email to present AIR LIQUIDE CANADA INC.'s products and services.
* Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions from our extensive product portfolio.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotes, and presentations.
* Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
* Manage and grow a dedicated customer base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
* Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, coordinating with internal teams (e.g., logistics, customer service) to ensure timely delivery.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales activities in the CRM system.
* Collaborate with outside sales representatives and other departments to maximize sales opportunities and provide seamless customer experiences.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to effectively position AIR LIQUIDE CANADA INC.'s offerings.
* Meet and exceed assigned key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or a related customer-facing role, preferably within an industrial or B2B environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build rapport with customers and effectively negotiate.
Preferred qualifications
* Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle/SAP) and Google suite (word, excel etc.) is an asset.
* Results-oriented.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Knowledge of industrial gases, welding equipment, or related technical products is an advantage.
