Your new role
As Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, you will serve as the Quality Responsible Person (QRP) for Novo Nordisk in the KLM (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar) and LKMV (Sri Lanka, Maldives) full-agency markets, while supporting quality operations in Vietnam. You'll be the guardian of our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with both Novo Nordisk standards and local regulatory requirements across these diverse markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as Local Deviation Expert and Change Request Expert, handling temperature excursions, root cause analysis, and CAPA follow-ups across multiple markets
- Leading quality oversight and audits of key distribution partners and external GxP parties, ensuring our life-saving medicines maintain the highest standards throughout the supply chain
- Managing product release decisions, complaints, pharma crime cases, and customer contacts related to quality inquiries
- Coordinating Quality Management Reviews and potential product recalls in compliance with procedures and local regulations
- Representing Novo Nordisk in interactions with local Health Authorities and coordinating audits and inspections
- Delivering QMS training for new employees and maintaining local SOPs related to quality operations in Vietnam
- Supporting warehouse operations by overseeing QMS activities and ensuring product safety during receipt, storage, and dispatch

You'll be part of the Legal, Compliance and Quality department, reporting to the Head of Legal, Compliance and Quality in Vietnam with a dotted line to the APAC Associate Quality Director, in Singapore. This role offers you the unique opportunity to work across multiple markets, bridging regional quality standards while adapting to local regulatory landscapes.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a quality professional who thrives in a complex, multi-market environment and has the expertise to be our trusted quality voice across Southeast Asia. You'll bring with you:
- University degree or higher with a major in Pharmacy; preferably a certified pharmacist with pharmaceutical practice certificate covering drug import and export;
- Lead Auditor certificate/qualification;
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a global context, with thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems and relevant regulatory requirements;
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, change management, and project management;
- Professional fluency in English with excellent communication and cooperation skills, coupled with flexibility, curiosity, and high integrity;
- Cultural awareness and the ability to navigate diverse regulatory environments across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
