About the Opportunity
The School of Information and Communication Technology at Griffith University is a leading school for education and research in computer science and information technologies. It offers innovative programs across areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, software engineering, computer networking, and intelligent systems. With a strong emphasis on industry engagement and real-world applications, the School prepares graduates with the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven world.
We are seeking a Research Fellow to play a key role in the ARC Linkage project Ontology Generation with Large Language Models for Regulatory Processes. In this position, you will design and develop novel algorithms for automated ontology and knowledge graph construction, implement and fine‑tune advanced systems, and work closely with PhD students to evaluate and validate project outcomes.
The role may also include contributing to the teaching activities within the School of ICT.

This is a full time, two year fixed term opportunity based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Salary – Research Fellow Grade 1 – Base range is $91,705.29 - $107,420.93 + 17% super. Full package range is $107,295.20 - $125,682.49.
