Candidates will be considered for seasonal building maintenance type opening on the day shift.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Daily duties may include custodial type work such as, cleaning common areas both indoor and outdoors, pulling weeds, landscaping, operating industrial powered equipment, rigging, loading, and unloading equipment and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Application/Resume must show at least 12 months of work experience in at least one (2) of the following:
Must be able and willing to read, write and interpret equipment manuals and technical instructions where required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able and willing to operate gasoline powered lawncare equipment including riding mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and brush cutters.
Must be able and willing to drive a pickup truck and have a valid driver’s license
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members including leadership.
In order to complete daily job tasks, candidate must be willing and able to bend, kneel, twist, reach, and move around the property and work around moving machinery. Some tasks require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70 pounds. The work environment will vary depending on the task assigned. This position requires candidate to perform tasks indoors and outdoors. During the summer months, outdoor work is performed in temperatures ranging up to 95 degrees or higher and may require standing up to 10 hours per day.
Seasonal work will end in October.
Hours: Part-Time Only. This is a Tuesday through Thursday position.
Shift hours: Shifts will vary depending on the assignment. Start time 7:00 am, End times until shift work is done (typically between 8-10 hours a day). There is no guarantee of hours.
