We’re looking for a dynamic, highly organised and solutions-focused New Store Project Lead to support the delivery of our new store pipeline across Australia and New Zealand on an 18-month contract.
Travel is an integral part of this role and you will be required to perform your duties in field across Australia and New Zealand (as dictated by project locations and support requirements).
The Role You Could Play:
Reporting into the New Store Delivery Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of new store openings, closures and pop-ups, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly, on time and to MECCA’s high standards. You will:
Lead the end-to-end new stores critical path across all project phases, from planning through to post-opening
Partner with teams across the business to drive alignment, communication and delivery against timelines and budgets
Provide on-site leadership for store set up, opening and post-opening support
Manage project tracking, reporting and documentation to ensure consistent execution
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across tools, processes and delivery
What You Will Bring:
You are someone who brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach to project and operations work and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment. Ideally, you will bring:
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align teams
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Experience delivering retail, operations or project-based work (store openings highly regarded)
A hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and analytical capability
High attention to detail with a process-driven mindset and passion for continuous improvement
