Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer – Site Supervision to join our team in Riyadh for a prestigious mixed-use development project. The candidate will play a critical role in overseeing electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local KSA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale mixed-use developments (residential, commercial, hospitality) within the GCC region.
Your role
- Conduct site inspections to ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Monitor and enforce contractor compliance with project specifications, shop drawings, and relevant codes.
- Review and provide technical feedback on:
- Material submittals
- Method statements
- Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Shop and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Witness and validate testing & commissioning activities for major electrical systems.
- Ensure adherence to KSA codes and standards (SEC regulations, SBC, IEC standards).
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively, providing technical solutions where required.
- Prepare and maintain:
- Daily inspection reports
- NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Weekly and monthly progress reports
- Support project management team in ensuring quality, safety, and timeline compliance.
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering with a strong focus on site supervision for building projects.
- Proven experience working on mixed-use developments (commercial, residential, hospitality).
- Prior experience in KSA or GCC projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Saudi Building Code (SBC)
- SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) standards
- International standards (IEC, BS)
- Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment.
