Job Purpose
This position is responsible for leading the account management function under commercial division. The key responsibility of this position is to achieve budgets and strategic targets by stakeholder management of existing clients. The role requires people and relationship management across the organization to ensure quality delivery of product and services to our customers. Additionally, the position holder is responsible for identifying sales prospects, leads, new revenue streams, pitching & selling goods & services as well as maintaining good relationship with stakeholders. The position holder is expected to lead new client pitching, proposal creation, onboarding process and manage other new revenue streams in coordination with account management team & project managers.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Objectives
- Formulate, implement and benchmark development strategies for each client (sister companies, Govt. & commercial entities) to deliver budget / strategic business targets
Core Responsibilities
- Work to achieve budget, strategic business targets and performance objectives by managing existing clients
- Champion and continuously improve Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and functions and map customers, stakeholders, end users, Govt. & trade bodies and associations, promote strong personal relationships with all business influencers to drive revenue
- Represent the company in key stakeholder meetings, customer meetings, trade and industry briefings, conferences and external forums
- Understand the needs of the client and ensure they are met by coordinating with relevant stakeholders within the organization. Deliver best in class service quality and account management in coordination with internal divisions and department
- Provide leadership and guidance to account managers and other staff within the division to meet targets and objectives
- Serve as a point of contact for customers in Rafed’s portfolio. Resolve issues and challenges and strengthen customer’s trust
- Undertake any other tasks as directed by Chief Commercial Officer
Organization, Resources and Monitoring
- Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve capabilities and technical skills related to the section’s functional requirements.
People Management
- Lead, support and guide the Account Managers to deliver their targets and resolve challenges / bottleneck
- Promote the Organizational culture and values within the team
Stakeholder Management
- Lead, drive and support the relationship management with internal stakeholders & clients.
Policies and Procedures
- Ensure compliance of all policies and procedures of Rafed and Pure Health Group while delivering the roles and responsibilities
Reporting
- Prepare required reports as per the section’s reporting requirements internally within GPO and externally as applicable or any other reports as directed by Chief Commercial Officer
Job Qualifications
Education, Skills and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline. Masters would be a plus
- English language is required; Arabic language (written & spoken) is preferred.
Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in healthcare industry
- Minimum 3 -5 years of managerial experience leading group of people
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical or Medical Consumable preferred
