Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.
The Lab Integration Platform Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining data integration workflows between source laboratories and internal systems. This role ensures the secure and efficient transfer of lab results, supports platform enhancements, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Data Integration & Access Management:
◦ Configure and maintain SFTP accounts, including password updates and access controls. ◦ Serve as the primary liaison (“Gatekeeper”) for results data from source labs. ◦ Confirm successful data imports via Mirth and LIMS systems.
• Issue Resolution & Communication:
◦ Troubleshoot data transmission issues and coordinate with lab contacts. ◦ Triage internal support requests (e.g., Missing Orders, SID) to appropriate study teams. ◦ Communicate with external providers regarding TCP/IP connection issues.
• Platform Configuration & Documentation:
◦ Manage Mirth configurations, including IQC schedules and automated order reporting. ◦ Document and coordinate platform changes, enhancements, and upgrades. ◦ Support hybrid workflows (e.g., imports from ShareFile) and harmonization equation imports on legacy servers.
• Project Support & Coordination:
◦ Assist in LIT development preparation for CAB and Peer Review processes. ◦ Participate in project handoff and kickoff calls; review OSD documentation. ◦ Assign tasks related to results, sample processing, and storage to Project Managers. ◦ Track and report monthly statistics and details for go-live projects.
Education and Experience
• Associate’s degree or university program certificate, 4-6 years related laboratory experience or experience in the clinical trial industry and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience with Mirth Connect, LIMS systems, and SFTP configuration.
Skills and Ability
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and hybrid data workflows. • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across teams. • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
