We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing team at Marsh. This role will be based in Auckland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Marketing Manager
The Senior Marketing Manager is a senior marketing role responsible for owning and delivering marketing strategy and outcomes for a defined portfolio of businesses, solutions or segments.
Operating as a strategic partner to business leaders, this role translates commercial priorities into integrated, insight‑led marketing plans that balance brand building, demand creation and sales enablement.
We will count on you to:
- Act as the primary marketing partner and advisor to senior business stakeholders within the assigned portfolio.
- Translate business strategy, growth priorities and client needs into clear, outcome focused marketing strategies and plans.
- Shape and articulate solution and segment level value propositions and messaging, tailored to priority audiences.
- Influence stakeholder decision making through insight led recommendations and clear prioritisation.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated, multi‑channel marketing activity
- Monitor, analyse and report on marketing performance across brand, engagement, pipeline and conversion metrics.
- Actively contribute to building marketing capability, consistency and maturity across the team.
- Lead, coach and develop junior and mid-level marketers, providing clarity on expectations and development priorities.
What you need to have:
- Typically, 7-10 years’ experience in marketing roles within a corporate or agency environment.
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders in complex organisations.
- Experience owning and delivering integrated marketing plans.
- People leadership experience
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong, trusted partnerships with business stakeholders
- Able to connect marketing activity to business strategy and commercial outcomes.
- Confident influencing, challenging and aligning stakeholders around priorities.
- Comfortable managing complexity, ambiguity and competing demands
- Uses data, insight and experience to inform decisions and recommendations.
- Works effectively across teams, practices and global counterparts.
