We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join our Culinary Leadership Team. This role is ideal for a proven kitchen leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and is passionate about developing teams, driving operational excellence, and leading by example on the line. As Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, mentor future culinary leaders, and uphold the high standards that define the Shark Club experience. What You’ll Do Working alongside the Executive Chef and leadership team, your responsibilities will include: • Leading day-to-day culinary operations across prep, line, and service execution • Supervising and supporting all kitchen team members during high-volume service periods • Ensuring consistent execution of menu items to Shark Club standards • Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety standards • Assisting with labour management, scheduling, inventory, food cost controls, and productivity targets • Coaching, mentoring, and developing cooks, supervisors, and emerging culinary leaders • Supporting hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning • Helping drive a positive, accountable, and high-performance kitchen culture • Partnering with the Executive Chef on operational improvements, systems, and execution standards • Leading by example through professionalism, urgency, teamwork, and communication What We’re Looking For • Previous Sous Chef or Senior Kitchen Leadership experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant or sports bar environment • Strong culinary foundation with a passion for quality, consistency, and execution • Proven leadership ability with experience developing and motivating teams • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment • A hands-on leadership style with a strong work ethic and team-first mentality • Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Join Shark Club?
