Role Overview
The EB Operations Analyst is responsible for processing a range of specialized operational activities that may require research and investigation beyond standard procedures. The role requires a strong understanding of banking products, services, and operational processes, as well as the ability to manage complex tasks, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage specialized operational activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
- Conduct research and investigations for cases that fall outside standard processes.
- Monitor and control operational processes, ensuring issues are identified and escalated appropriately.
- Handle complex or higher-risk transactions with care and in line with risk controls.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader to resolve escalations effectively.
- Contribute to the team’s continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and proposing enhancements.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and support the review and enhancement of operational procedures.
- Support or participate in projects and initiatives related to operational efficiency, quality, and process improvement.
- Provide training and coaching to team members on specific processes when required.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of industry experience related to financial services operations with understanding of investment operations and operational excellence.
- Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
- Well-developed organizational and critical thinking skills to resolve complex day to day issues independently.
- Good interpersonal skills and networking abilities with sub-custodians and both internal/external departments.
- Detail oriented, excellent accuracy skills and good understanding in mutual fund and hedge fund are strongly recommended.
- Working hours: 3.00pm – 12.00am / 4.00pm – 01.00am Malaysia time.
